Five star hotel the Radisson Collection Hotel, just off the Royal Mile has launched one incredible new food offering, the new monthly gourmet Sunday Brunch experience – the first of which took place on the 27th of January and Hidden Edinburgh went along to check out what has to be Edinburgh’s best new brunch option!

Taking place the last Sunday of each month, from 1-4pm up in Cucina restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, this new brunch option offers an elevated culinary experience with a focus firmly on the finest of Scottish seasonal produce. Coupled with live music from Edinburgh DJ Stefan Peterson and one incredible sax player (watch the video below to get a feel for the music). It is great for couples looking to unwind with great food and music as well as larger groups looking to toast the end of the weekend – and month – in unadulterated style.
The Food!
The brunch is a feast, I guarantee you will leave stuffed! Starters are laid out on the Chef’s table which is overflowing with seasonal produce including Scottish shellfish, salads, continental charcuterie and cheeses, breads, and there is even a huge selection of breakfast cereals and juices.
Love the fresh honey comb which is made up on the roof of the hotel by the Radisson Collection’s very own bee colony!
Don’t over do it on the starters and make sure you leave room for mains as there are some delicious options including a Ribeye of Beef Sunday Roast with all the trimmings, a full Scottish breakfast, Scottish Salmon and scrambled eggs, Eggs Benedict and Eggs Florentine, to name just a few.
Drinks Station
For those looking to celebrate there are Bloody Mary and Belinis being poured at the fizz station which are all part of the brunch drinks package.
And to finish off head back to the Chef’s table for dessert and cheese!
