Looking for something fun and different to do this weekend? Then head to Ink Market this Sunday (10th October) on Brunswick Street and discover a wonderful collection of antiques, vintage garms, bric a brac and handmade goods all lovingly created by local traders and independent brands.
The market opens at 11am and guests can enjoy an afternoon session (from 2.30pm) of music from the incredibly talented harpist Dara Watson who is returning after a glowing reception to her classic take on modern favourites a few weeks ago. Drinks on tap, delicious food and people watching are all a must. Sweet treats from Ptasie Mleczko and the return of Ride and Grind who will be serving the caffeinated goodness from their motorbike ~come coffee machine. You have to see it to believe it.
The ‘Ink Market’ is a free family-friendly event and market where visitors also get the opportunity to experience cutting edge contemporary art in the project space. The goal is for this socially engaged community project to create new conversations and collaborations in the heart of the city.
Ltd Ink Corporation is an arts organisation that facilitates exhibitions, talks and events from emerging and established artists, individuals and collectives from Scotland and beyond. Their aim is to engage with the public in a personal and intimate manner offering a clearer insight into contemporary art.
