Edinburgh’s newest escape room operator brings the city’s dark past to life with highly immersive puzzle adventures.
Set on the edge of Edinburgh’s old surgical district, ‘The Anatomist’ dares you to descend into a world of grave robbery, mystery and malpractice as you enter the study of a 19th century anatomist. Can you locate Dr Malcolm’s incriminating journal before he returns? Thrilling, covid-secure fun, suitable for ages 12+.
Padlox Escape Rooms
Based down in Leith, Padlox Escape Room’s puzzle is set in LA during the 2028 Olympics. Newly recognised nation Nova Patria have been setting world records, and their doping tests have all come back negative. You receive an anonymous call asking you to meet in the anti doping lab when the Olympic ceremony finishes and the puzzle begins.
Can you Escape
Located on Holyrood Road, this escape room offers two puzzles, Operation Spellbound and Operation Odyssey. This is one of Edinburgh’s hardest escape rooms, with Operation Spellbound being their most challenging puzzle to complete!
Locked In Edinburgh
Locked In is Edinburgh’s only escape game based in real rooms and not purpose built sets. It lets you explore the secrets of Summerhall, Edinburgh’s old Vet School. You may find yourself deep within the history of the building while exploring an old laboratory, a dissection room, an anatomy theatre or even the small animal hospital. Or, you may find yourself exploring the building as it’s used today- where you must uncover the identity of who is plotting against Pickering’s Gin and save the distillery.
