Food is fuel for the body. The better the fuel is the better a person will feel and their whole body will perform so taking advice from experts can have a hugely positive impact on general well being and health.
Some nutritionists specialise in certain areas, such as food allergies, sports nutrition and public health – to name a few. Check out some of the suggested Edinburgh Nutritionist’s below to find the service that is right for you.
Edinburgh Nutrition
Many people endure health problems everyday without realising that a small dietary change or supplement could make all the difference. Doctors suppress symptoms with acid-blockers, antibiotics, painkillers and so on, whereas a Nutritional Therapist aims to address the underlying cause of the problem. Emma Conroy founded Edinburgh Nutrition in April 2005, following four years of scientific and clinical training. After over a decade in practice, Emma has a high degree of knowledge and expertise, and has helped hundreds of people with all sorts of health concerns.
Edinburgh Centre of Nutrition & Therapy
Having developed a successful practice as a nutritional therapist in Edinburgh, Sarah Stelling BSc, Dip. ION, wanted to open a centre for nutrition and complementary therapies to promote a holistic approach to health and well-being. Spread over two floors in Tollcross, the Centre has four therapy rooms, a waiting room and a retail shop. The centre opened for business in the autumn of 2005. At the centre they run classes, student nutritional clinics, host health related talks and professional development seminars. All of our practitioners are experienced, fully qualified and members of their own professional regulatory body.
