Scottish Brewer Innis & Gunn will open the doors to its “Beer Bank” at 69 North Castle Street today at 4pm as it continues its Beer Money crowdfund drive. The site, formally a bank, has been transformed into a beer investors paradise with all the traditional elements of a bank given an Innis & Gunn makeover. There’s a free bar too, of course.

“Beer Money” was launched on Monday 11 November. Innis & Gunn look to raise £3M to help build the first large scale brewery in Edinburgh for over 150 years. Investments start from £20.

The Beer Bank pop-up is open on the following days and times to anyone looking for more information about investing in Innis & Gunn:
- Thursday 15 November: 4pm – 7pm
- Friday 16 November 4pm – 7pm
The world’s first (7.25%) APR has been brewed to mark the opening. The beer is a tasty reminder of the strong financial return delivered to Innis & Gunn’s 1,105 Beer Bond holders, while gently poking a bit of fun at more traditional forms of investing. After all, (7.25%) APR is not available from any high street bank… because it’s a beer.
