Lidl has tonight announced that in response to huge demand from customers, it will be releasing extra tickets for its Lidl House of Hortus artisan gin pop up, after tickets sold out within 24 hours
Tickets for all dates of the nationwide pop-up gin club including Edinburgh inspired by the cult-favourite Hortus Gin range – and the first ever from a UK retailer – sold out in a matter of hours, leading to a wave of calls from customers for more tickets to become available.
Therefore, Lidl has today announced that it will be making a further batch of tickets available at 6pm on Thursday evening (11th October) for all locations, so there’s still a chance to gain access to the hottest event in town.
Visitors to the Lidl House of Hortus will be able to sample both new and existing gins featured in the retailer’s premium Hortus range, served by a dedicated team of ‘Hortus-Culturists’ and mixologists who will offer guests a customised gin and botanical pairing experience.
Those lucky enough to gain access to the exclusive gin club will receive a total of TWO free-pour serves of Lidl’s award-winning Hortus gin range or other spirits.
Guests will be-gin their experience in the Pink Gin Liqueur Lounge, where Hortus Gin Liqueurs including Raspberry, Rhubarb & Ginger and Rose & Pomegranate will be available to sample.
As they move through the experience, visitors will be immersed in a sensory Botanical Garden where they will learn about gin pairings while enjoying a free-pour serve from the signature range including Hortus Artisan Dry Gin; Oriental Spiced Gin; or Citrus Garden Gin.
Finally, attendees will be able to head up to the Spirits in the Sky bar – featuring a central circular bar, and a starry night sky – to enjoy a drink from Lidl’s broader range and get into the festive spirit.
The Lidl House of Hortus will open its doors on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th of October at 19 Greek Street, Soho, London – before travelling to Queen Street, Cardiff on Friday 2nd, Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th November, and Castle Street, Edinburgh on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th November.
The Lidl House of Hortus tour is a free, ticketed event.
