The Pastry Section is one of our favourite Stockbridge spots to indulge with a delicious sweet treat so we are delighted to share with you news of their brand new ‘cosy menu’ for autumn, ideal for those cold days when all you want to do is warm up with coffee and cake in comfort.
The limited-edition menu is available, at the contemporary, independent bakery, from today (Tues 22nd October) until the end of November and features a bounty of classic autumnal flavours, lovingly crafted into delicious sweet treats by The Pastry Section’s small team of in-house bakers.
With bakes changing daily, there are lots of new treats to look out for. From pumpkin spice loaf, sticky toffee pudding cake, ginger cake squares and caramel apple loaf to individual pecan pies, there are plenty of traditional options to try, as well as more unusual bakes like s’more cookie sandwiches and doughnut muffins.
In addition to the selection of sweet treats guests can also enjoy luxurious hot chocolate from local chocolatiers Edward & Irwyn, topped with The Pastry Section’s own homemade chai marshmallows. For coffee lovers, there’s everything from cappuccinos to flat whites, made using locally-roasted beans.
Whether popping in for a quick treat on the way to work, spending a couple of hours catching up with friends at the weekend or opting to take away to enjoy at home after a walk through the crisp falling leaves, The Pastry Section’s autumn menu is designed to encourage people to cosy in and take some time out and savour the moment.
